This product – new to the market – incorporated a clever way of adjusting a hearing aid using a smart phone, instead of fiddling with knobs and drawing attention to the fact you are wearing one in the first place.
I put myself in the mind of the wearer: what would I want to know? I cut down on a lot of the technical guff about how it worked and focused on how to use it, since it was a user manual after all.
The result was a user guide that was easy to understand and reassuringly simple. Life is already complicated.
